MY STORY

I was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 1976.

It was in my native country that I discovered glass, using the blowtorch technique. The lack of glassblowing training schools in Latin America led me to Segovia (Spain) in 2001, where I studied at the Centro Nacional del Vidrio thanks to a scholarship.

In 2002, after receiving a new scholarship, I joined the Vetro Ricerca school in Bolzano (Italy). In 2004, I moved to Vannes-le-Châtel, France, to study at Cerfav, after receiving a final scholarship. During my training, I had the opportunity to learn and work alongside the best glassblowers in Europe. At the same time, I led workshops on various glassblowing techniques. I was fortunate to be able to exhibit my creations in international exhibitions.

Enriched by these varied lessons, I returned to Segovia as a glassblowing teacher. In 2007, I moved to Japan to work alongside master glassmaker Kenji Ito at the Aya Glass Studio in Kawasaki.

Based in Marseille since 2008, I had the chance to join CIRVA more than 15 years ago, and to participate in multiple projects, both spectacular in their technicality and their artistic splendor, whether for articles from various universes or for major French and international brands.

TECHNIQUE AT THE SERVICE
OF ART

Glassblowing, as an artistic discipline, transcends the boundaries of material to become a dialogue between technical mastery, creative freedom, and, above all, the joy of glassblowing itself. Throughout my career, I have explored this balance in workshops across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with great artists such as Ettore Sottsass, Jean-Luc Moulène, Mona Hatoum, Jimmie Durham, Veronika Sedlmair among many others. Through these collaborations, I have learned a lot about the creative process, how to approach a work and push the boundaries of the imagination.

Today, what really motivates me and gives meaning to my work is the pleasure and fun I find in the process itself. For me, the essential thing is the joy of glassblowing… that moment of play, experimentation, and constant discovery.

Technology is wonderful and necessary, but it only takes on its full value when we allow ourselves to distort it, reinvent it and create without being enslaved by it. I am convinced that innovation is born when technology is put at the service of imagination and, above all, when pleasure and passion guide every breath and every gesture in the workshop.
